With our deepest regards, we are seeking volunteers to help in performing different duties during the Worlds Aids Day concert in Vancouver, taking place on November 29, 2009 at the Ray Cam Community Centre, starting at 12:00 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m..

World AIDS Day is observed every around the globe. The World Health Organization established World AIDS Day in 1988. World AIDS Day provides governments, national AIDS programs, civil society, faith based organizations, community organizations, and individuals with an opportunity to raise awareness and focus attention on the global AIDS epidemic.

Our goal is to raise awareness in our community in an effort to reach those locally & globally. We aim to do this with World Aids Day Vancouver, with a theme of “JAMIN LOCAL AND IMPACTING GLOBAL”. Our focus is to create awareness locally and globally on the AIDS pandemic; to generate positive action to stop the spread of HIV; and to eradicate AIDS in regards to the United Nations Millennium Development Goal Number 6 from the Millennium Campaign - “Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other Diseases” -
