Which is more important : saving & caring for human lives or official bilingualism ? Clearly human lives.
Many of us are deeply disappointed that we continue to suffer cutbacks in important services like healthcare.

Now imagine the millions of dollars of taxpayers' money that had been used to serve French official language status in the past & for the future, now used instead for the public good such as healthcare, education, social housing, environment and better infrastructure (public works).

WRITE TO YOUR MP asking them to abolish Official Bilingualism & argue for the associated taxpayers' monies to be redirected to more critical priorities like public healthcare. French Canadians came to Canada as immigrants like everyone else. It is therefore unfair that the French language should enjoy the only official language status other than English. Moreover, the Francophone population is becoming smaller in comparison to other ethnicities. If this 2nd official language status is abolished,
1) all the taxpayers $ used for this can be directed to much more important priorities like healthcare
2) equal rights for ALL Canadians & permanent residents can be preserved
