Are you interested in being published, both in print and online? Global Ink, The University of British Columbia’s premiere International Business Magazine, is currently looking for writers.
Journalistic or academic writing style is preferred. Submissions should be between 500-1500 words in length.
While the theme for the second issue is “Economic Development”, submissions on other subjects will also be accepted. Submissions should be written in a format that may be understood by a wide audience. You may consider submitting articles, interviews, or essays on topics including:
-Reflection on work experiences in social sector in foreign countries
-Commentary on global economic conditions
-Analysis of the impact of globalization on the poor
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
-Writers must currently be students, alumni, faculty, or staff at the University of British Columbia
-All submissions may be saved and printed in future publications
-Global Ink reserves the right to publish all submitted material.
-Global Ink will accredit the writer for all submissions.
-Articles should not have been published previously in another magazine or journal, nor be available in a final version on a publicly available web site.
Articles submitted before midnight November 10th , 2009 will be eligible for a cash prize. Other submissions, for which there will be no cash prize, will be accepted as late as December 15th for the winter print edition. Please submit to Fiona Mcglynn or Phillip Dawid at: editor.in.chief@ibclub.ca
