We are looking for people to help start up a volunteer outreach workers program for the homeless and those at risk of being homeless
The www.faithsociety.org (to make a donation) mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of being homeless.
We seek out the homeless population in the community and interact with them in their invironment during the night-time.
in our experience so far,the homeless population suffers the most after the other societys close their doors for the day.
It is during the cold long nights that they need the help. Outreach workers are need during the night The majority of our volunteer work we do is after 8 p.m. seeking out people who are with out shelter and providing them with warm clothing and blankets.We distribute hot soups & hot drinks while we are on the streets.
If the shelters are full we will drive the homeless person to the next shelter in the next community to make sure they are in awarm safe We would like to have a volunteer chapter outreach program in your area. 90% OF ANY DONATION THAT CHAPTER RECIEVE MUST go to help the homeless 10% will go to Admin.
