Growing company is seeking a talented Network Administrator to join our team. The role of this position is to support our network, systems, and staff.

Strong working knowledge of:
• Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, including but not limited to Windows XP and Windows 2003/2008 Small Business Server Networks
• Network hardware, software and protocols, including TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, etc.
Extensive experience in:
• Security measures including, network/perimeter security, antivirus, spyware, etc.
• Website development, including HTML, and Database tools (including Microsoft SQL server)
• Network communication protocols
• VPN & remote desktop administration
• Backup and disaster recovery procedures & technologies
• General desktop maintenance & support
• Project Management, Budgets, Training, Helpdesk management, and vendor negotiation
Ability to:
• Coordinate with all IT vendors and other 3rd party providers
• Document existing and potential networks, procedures & plans
• Communicate complicated technical strategy to management
Perform:
• Network administration and maintenance
• Software installation, maintenance, and upgrading
• Hardware installation, maintenance, and upgrading

Responsible for:
• Backup and Disaster Recovery plans
• Network documentation
• Network user management
• Determining need, investigating, reviewing and making recommendations for all necessary hardware, software and peripherals
• Network and computer-related security, including making sure that virus & spyware protection software is up-to-date
• Training and assisting staff in using hardware and software efficiently

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects from concept to completion within time constraints
• Excellent analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle pressure; work in a fast paced environment
• Work varied hours including evenings, some weekends, and holidays
• Ability to establish and maintain good vendor relations
