We are currently seeking release engineer to handle release packaging, code deployment, production configurations and release execution duties.
You must be a self-motivated, team player with the ability and passion to see projects through from conception to completion within prescribed time frames. The position is demanding, requiring a dynamic individual with a strong desire for accomplishment.

Responsibilities
You will design, develop and maintain deployment scripts, installers and other release mechanisms that will include packaging, provisioning code, conducting deployments & installations and maintaining/configuring application environments.
Working closely with quality assurance, network operations and project teams to automate processes and increase efficiency, you will be expected to stay focused on process development initiatives while delivering releases for active projects.
When required and in a supporting role, you will provide backup to the Build Master executing builds and assisting with other release preparation activities.
As a public company, we have to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and you will be expected to assist with compliance related activities where appropriate.
Required Skills
• Experience and/or formal training in information technology or software development or related discipline
• Familiarity with automation/scripting/administration tasks in a Microsoft environment specifically with recent and current versions Windows 2003 Server
• Basic understanding of VMware and/or other virtualization products in the context of using virtual technologies for managing environments
• Experience with n-tier web development and web services in a high-volume environment with a familiarity with .NET programming
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent reasoning, analysis and problem solving skills and the ability to document ideas clearly and concisely
Education and Experience
• Relevant Technical Diploma or similar
• 1 + years working with Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Microsoft certifications desirable
