A Vancouver based company providing network design and implementation services requires a motivated and experienced individual to assist with supporting clients. The position will be a subcontracting arrangement requiring between 5 to 20 hours of work per week depending on the volume of client support calls. To apply for this position, you will need to have excellent customer service skills and be able to work independantly. Ideally you will have at least five to ten years experience in IT support roles and exposure to the following technologies:
Windows Server 2003 / 2008
Windows Small Business Server, Windows Essential Business Server
Exchange 2003 / 2007
Terminal Services
Citrix XenServer and XenApp
Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.x & 5.x
Desktop image development
Active Directory, Group Policies etc
Cisco, 3-COM, HP, Juniper, Watchguard router / switch configuration
Documentation skills (both network diagrams and end user documentation)
Scripting (vbscript, batch, powershell)
