My roommate is moving to Los Angles and he has given me notice - so I am looking for someone (male or female) for December 1st (move in date negotiable.)

I'm a clean, quiet, friendly, stable, responsible 43 year-old male looking for the same qualities in a roommate.

I have a nice fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment (hardwood floors) with balcony (3rd (TOP) floor South West corner suite -lots of sunshine) that includes one cute clean fluffy and sociable cat located on 15th Ave at Sophia (1 1/2 blocks east of Main Street on 15th ).

Bus stop, supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and shops are only 1 block away.

The bedroom is fully furnished: includes a queen size bed (sheets, pillows, duvet included), chairs, dresser, private TV (with cable & stand - in addition to the larger one in the living room), shoe rack, mirrors, bedside lamp, closet, clock radio & wall clock, pictures on walls etc. Shared computer or router available with high speed internet for someone with their own computer. No wireless - unless tenant brings a wireless router.

Total rent is $950.00. Rent for each of us is $475.00 plus bills.

The bills include TV cable, high speed internet, phone with very cheap long distance plan, and hydro. Total bills each is $85.00.

Rent and bills together is $560.00 a month each. Laundry machines are available in the building. The roommate would share the entire living space.

I don't do drugs, smoke, and am not a heavy drinker and I'm looking for the same in a roommate. Having someone who likes having a cat is a bonus. If this sounds good to you then I look forward to hearing from you. Damage deposit $200 and references would helpful at time of interview.
