Knowing it is no different than just saying wtf is that? You can spend hours proving it and many pencil marks and eraser smudges later you'll succeed but... something will be missing. Missing from your grasp. It won't stay still. It's moving. All around you. In the pipes below the kitchen sink, dripping from the tap in the bathroom, and hammering quietly past the metal plates of the heater running along the wall behind you. It's inside, and it's outside falling from the sky onto the leaves down the bark into the soil and back up through the roots. And finally there it is, on a thin layer in front of you.
