= women created to SERVE men.
Eph. 5:22, 24 – “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: …. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.”
= women be submissive.

So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. Christians have completely fucked up the planet, so much more so then any other organized religious group! Holy wars – sure, you’re looking at the last 75 yrs but over the span of the last few centuries it isn’t even comparable! And what the fuck do you think “The Troubles” in Ireland is? Catholics and Protestants raping, murdering, kidnapping and stealing from their neighbour in the name of religious difference?
Or what about the colonial/missionary work done over the last 2 centuries? Again, in the name of Christ and “civilization”… Its still happening today? Sure, maybe they aren’t raping people literally, but fundamentally they are raping cultures and destroying any sense of ethnic diversity the world has left. Its disgusting.
And I am saying this as a white, middle class woman who was raised by a conservative Christian family…

Think about this last verse written 2000 years ago when women were treated as mere property of men. NT Christians are ORDERED TO LOVE THEIR WIVES!! This was radical for the time and for centuries to come. There is NOTHING like this in the Qur'an where men are ORDERED TO BEAT their wives (4:34)!
