This is a old 1950s arched back Framus flat top steel string guitar from Germany,it has steel tuners on it and not classical plastic ones so its been used for steel string only, the vintage spruce top has seen many years and is still holding its own, its in good shape and it sounds great too,its has new strings on it, used in a recording with slide last year and hav'nt used it since,the label on the inside reads "Built in the Heart of Bavaria" Model S/74, Serial No 433, Tested by ? "Framus Werke Bavaria" Made in Germany,I would say its a late 1950s....The top is nice vintage looking spruce and the back, sides and neck are mahogany,the back is the bowed version, this is a all wood guitar. it has the thinest neck and widest fretboard I have ever seen.this guitar needs to be played to understand.
