POSITION TITLE: Print Advisor

The Print Advisor is required to perform all functions within a print site. This position will involve production of print/copy materials, customer service/consultation, file design/manipulation, clientele development, administrative functions, training/developing staff and site maintenance primarily in the retail location with occassional outside sales devlopment activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service, through the ability to understand the client's business and print needs.
- Operate all equipment including photocopiers, printers, fax machines, bindery eqipment, digital equipment and any other on-site equipment while maintaining a high level of quality output and service.
- Build copy centre sales through effective execution of G&T promotions, prioritizing jobs, networking and acquisition of new copy centre customers.
- Outbound selling and promotion of copy centre services.
- Receieve customer orders and prepare estimates.
- Process and produce print requests from hard copy or digital (electronic) input.
- Ensure equipment maintenance when required.
- Order necessary materials and supplies.
- Operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) terminal and handle all transaction types ("on account", cash, debit or credit card - where applicable).
- Train and develop other associates on copy centre operation.
- Perform site opening and closing duties.
- Participate in periodic inventory-related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or customer service environment.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to function in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.
- Good knowledge in the use of computers and PC based software such as: Windows, MS Office, Abobe Illustrator/Photoshop (*mandatory*), and other production related programs as required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Excellent skills in customer relations are essential.
- Previous copy industry experience/knowledge an asset.
- Secondary school completion.
