Job Description:
Are you a top notch Marketing Manager that thrives in a smaller, entrepreneurial, creative, and dynamic environment? As a Marketing Manager for Symmetrics, you will be responsible for the design and execution and measurement of strategies, tactics, and programs to generate mindshare, interest and demand of Symmetrics’ brand and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong marketing experience in the mid- and large-business market software space with expertise in creating demand and brand awareness both in a direct to end user and channel sales environment. The candidate should be interested in an exciting and unique opportunity to join a established, smaller but high growth-stage company and be willing and able to “roll up their sleeves” to do whatever needs to be done to create a “buzz” about Symmetrics leading edge BI solutions for the contact center market!

This challenging position requires superior creative ability and the ability think out of the box and execute independently. As the successful candidate, you will possess expertise in both traditional and Web 2.0 marketing program execution in the software technology industry.

Responsibilities:
• Lead generation and conversion are your top priorities - Identify new marketing opportunities and drive exploitation plans, including lead/demand generation and awareness building programs
• Develop marketing strategies and tactics
• Ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively and within budget through regular analysis and reporting of marketing success metrics
• Liaise with industry analysts, experts, and other influencers to drive solution understanding
• Conduct competitive analysis, market segmentation, product positioning and messaging
• Manage content creation and collateral development, including press releases, case studies, and online material
• Develop customer service and online lead generation programs to support resellers
• Writing case studies, press releases, newsletters, and any other marketing-related materials (or managing contractors for this function)
• Writing and updating website content


Work Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software marketing experience and proven success in a multitude of marketing disciplines
• Strong knowledge of marketing to the Small Medium Business market
• Experience in Social Media software and marketing
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) software and/or Telecom/Contact Center industry is a plus
• Expertise in aspects of online marketing, SEM, SEO and other web marketing expertise
• Demonstrated excellence in marketing communication, competitive analysis, marketing agency/vendor management and budget management are critical for success
• Experience and desire to work for a small entrepreneurial company and willing to handle a wide range of marketing tasks to get the job done
• Experience in the Business-to-Business (B2B) space targeting SMB customers

Education/Qualifications:
• BA/BS/BBA degree in a related field, MBA degree is a plus
• Ability in communicating messaging or branding strategies from value propositions
• Strong understanding of all aspects of marketing methodology to all our target customers
• Extensive knowledge of software marketing issues, pricing models, consumer packaging, distributions channels, and technology trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for technology and an ability to relate technology to business
