EmployMeBC is a job placement project dedicated to facilitating successful job placement matches between unemployed people and small businesses in the Greater Victoria and Greater Vancouver areas. This initiative runs under the umbrella of WCG International.

This program has an immediate opening for a results oriented full-time Job Developer to work in the Lower Mainland. This position will work with employers to find and create successful job placement matches. By ensuring employer satisfaction, the Job Developer will establish EmployMeBC as a resource for small businesses. The Job Developer will motivate, encourage and coach participants on all aspects of the job search and facilitate workshops in the areas of job search and retention.

The successful candidate must:
- have direct service skills in achieving excellent employment placement results
- be a strong communicator with the ability to build successful relationships
- have knowledge of the local labour market, community resources and government programs
- be familiar with job search techniques, career development and issues related to the unemployed
- possess driver’s license and reliable vehicle
