Come Join A Growing Team! BDO Dunwoody LLP (Vancouver Office) is seeking an HR Coordinator!
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day Staff Support and Confidential HR related duties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administration
• Administer and coordinate new employee orientation
• Maintain personnel and benefits files (prepare new employee files, filing etc)
• Administer policies pertaining to study leave, benefits for students (i.e. administers all forms ensuring accuracy and advises employees of entitlement)
• Assist practice units with voluntary resignations/terminations, including preparation of appropriate documentation, liaising with IT and overseeing update of HR systems/payroll
• New hire set-up including completing of payroll documentation, ensuring relevant departments advised (e.g. IT), assisting with data entry and assisting with general compliance to new hire checklist
• Under the direction of the HR Manager, tracks and monitors all annual evaluations
• Ad hoc reporting (chargeable hours, productivity reports, vacation, overtime, etc.) as requested

Professional Development
• Register students in the CA School of Business (CASB), arrange payment and track student progress
• Liaise with CASB regarding student concerns/queries
• Act as administrative support to all students, including managing study leave

Recruiting
• Screening/Scheduling/Participation with interviews for entry level candidates
• Assists in drafting job offers for new hires
• Assist the HR Manager with the Annual Campus Recruitment process including planning and organizing all campus recruitment activities, assisting with interviews and offer letters, and participating in information sessions, career fairs, etc.
• Maintain strong relationships with university representatives and career center personnel
• Assist in representing BDO alongside other national firms at ICABC initiated meetings

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
• Outstanding organization skills with an ability to juggle multiple tasks on the go
• Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong PC skills: MS Office, Outlook & HRIS

Qualifications
• Minimum 1-2 years previous HR related experience
• University degree or diploma, in a related field
• Working towards CHRP designation considered an asset
