1984 Enterprises Inc. is currently recruiting for an experienced OFA3 Camp Cook to work in remote mineral exploration sites throughout Canada.
Requirements Include:
• Current OFA3 certification or equivalent (80 hour course)
• Valid Food Safe Certificate
• Valid WHMIS Certificate
• Current Criminal Record Check
• Red Seal and/or commercial cooking background preferred
• Good communication skills, ability to work well with other staff, problem solving, decision making, planning and organizing, intermediate computer skills
OFA Site Duties:
• Attend to any and all first aid requirements
• Conduct emergency medevac procedures
• Orientation of all site residents to first aid and emergency procedures
• Inventory and maintenance of first aid supplies
• Maintain first aid room, equipment and supplies
• Attendance at safety meetings/reporting of any hazards
• Weekly accident/incident/activities reporting to head office
Camp Cook Duties:
• Prepare all food requirements for site activity and all associated duties
• Managerial duties to be implemented when required
• Assist in maintaining food production control, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
Successful candidates will be highly motivated, service and team-oriented individuals with an attention to detail. You will be available and willing to commit to work and live in remote locations for up to 42 consecutive days. Applicants with similar experience in mining exploration sites will be given preference.
