The following positions are great jobs working with Infants and children, you must have at least 2 years work experience relating to children in a daycare / preschool / Elementary School or Private Home or Community Centre setting. You must have or be willing to obtain first aid certification. A one year minimum commitment is required for all of our positions unless otherwise indicated. Minimum Qualifications:
Current First Aid / CPR Certificate or willing to obtain one.

SHIFT: FTVANCC32
HOURS: 7am to 5pm Monday- Friday
TOTAL HOURS: 50 hours M-F
DETAILS: Working with a 4.5 year old, that is in school 3 days per week.. This family is looking for a highly engaging, structured and organized caregiver. Early learning activities. Creative play, art activities, walks, encouraging good habits and good manners, general daily activities, playing games, going out for nature walks, playing at the park or in the back yard and taking them to classes as well as occasional outings to Science World , the Aquarium etc. are the main focus of the position as well as an openness to help around the house with house work, such as tidying children's items and running / emptying a dishwasher, cleaning floor and counter tops etc. Both Parents work full-time. Help with evening meal is preferred but negotiable.
LOCATION: 16th & Arbutus, Vancouver
REQUIRED: Valid Drivers license, Ability to commit one year minimum,
GROSS WAGE: 3200.00 per month/ about 39,000 per year.
START DATE: November 2009
SHIFT: FTVANINF1
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm / except Thursdays 2pm 10pm ( a person with a somewhat flexible schedule is needed for occasional travel domestically and internationally)
TOTAL HOURS: 40 hours per week
DETAILS: This position is working as a caregiver to a 9 month old baby girl. Lots of walks and engaging activities, nutritional and developmental awareness, making fresh natural baby food, outings for walks and as the baby gets old to play groups and other venues. This family is looking for someone that really loves and is knowledgeable about babies that will be an engaging active caregiver.
LOCATION: 1st and MacDonald, Vancouver / Kits area
REQUIRED: Experience with infants and toddlers, ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time up to 3 times per year to international destinations, as well as staying 6 to 8 weeks in London England in spring 2010. (all travel costs and accommodations will be paid by the employer / family, private accomodation will be provided)
Commitment: one year minimum
GROSS WAGE: 16.00 to 19.00 per hour depending on qualifications
START DATE: December 2009, or January 2010
