This would be a (no budget, volunteer position), i can't afford to pay for professionals. The short will be filming around next fall 2010, (to give the actors some time to work on the script), so I'll need some serious people who will be committed for the long haul but it won't be time consuming until we start filming, preproduction will be done when it's convenient for all of us. The cast and crew will get contracts to sign early before filming and will get a percentage of compensation if the series does make any money overtime.
About Me:
Hi, my name is Allen, i'm a 22 year-old film student and also an independent editor/cinematographer, I have worked on a bunch of short films and currently helping out a tv show in metro Vancouver.
About the Shorts-
It's going to be a 3 short movie arc (planning 3 short movies) First 1 is going to be 30min and is mostly an introduction to the 2 characters, the other 2 will be planned at a later time. Basically the first movies storyline is about a young man named Adam who has just recently lost a family member from a hit and run accident, the character has a darkness inside of him that he can't control, he blames himself for the death and eventually turns to the bottle to hide his grief, his friend Zara tries to snap him out of it and wants to help him restore his faith before it's too late, and from that it eventually leads him down a dark path (where the second and third movies come in.)
