Hi I am subletting my apartment for 3-4 months as I am leaving for vacation February 20th and returning between June and July 2012. The apartment is near Main & w 49th above a store and close to coffee shops,excellent indian restauraunts, groceries with fresh produce downstairs, laundry can be done across the street and Langara is only a couple blocks away. Bus routes going which ever way are only steps away and the skytrain station on Cambie is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. There are 3 units in this building but you never hear anyone or are heard, no one is beneath you so being loud isn't a big problem within reason of course.

What it has:

- attached bathroom with bath / shower but very small
- fridge with tons of space, microwave, oven ( the oven is very old and it does work but I would'nt trust it to bake anything properly)
- television with shaw pvr box, high speed wifi, I do have a pc with printer that you are welcome to use but it's a little old and not as fast as it used to be.
- decent closet space, large desk, double size bed and futon, basic kitchen utensils ie. pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils and whatever food I don't eat before I leave.
- private entrance, secure building , very warm

things it does not have are laundry nor a dishwasher.

The $300 rent is monthly for 3 months and it includes everything, if I am away for longer the 4th month will be half price($ 150 ).
I am looking for male or female who is not going to trash the place or dissappear with my stuff although it's not worth a whole lot anyways, no drug users please and I would require the $900 rent for 3 months rent as I have to pay before I leave, a photocopy of 2 pieces of ID.

This place must be one of the best values on this site. We were really surprised at all we got for such a low price (especially the yummy chocolates!) The suite was spotless and comfy and the owner helped us a lot in finding the best attractions. He even picked us up from the skytrain station. We really wish we could have stayed longer. My husband and I stayed at the Royal Eagle Suites in March 2010 and can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised. The suite was very clean,and well maintained. Chris, the manager was so accommodating very helpful . We only intended staying a few days, but extended our stay to just over two weeks. The suite is close to restaurants, local bus routes and the sky train. Parking is also provided. If you`re considering a stay in Vancouver, this suite is perfect.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful studio apartment last weekend. We were so impressed with how clean, comfortable and well stocked it was. Chris, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. It was very safe and a great location for the sky train and close by restaurants while out of the hustle of the city. This is also a great deal which we loved!!! We plan to stay here again and highly recommend it.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The owner, Chris, even picked us up from the Skytrain station that first night!! It is a FABULOUS location. So close to the Skytrain station and the waterfront. Lots of great restaurants close by and coffee shops just minutes from the rental. It would be a great place to stay at any time of the year to explore the whole Vancouver area. You would not need a car rental because you can get everywhere on the Skytrain. The unit was clean and well stocked. A perfect base for a fun vacation!!

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.
