What can be more cheery that to talk to someone with more problems than you.
Mine are pretty simple--no friends locally-tried much, never could get the knack of it.
Lots of dreams and ambitions I strove to achieve through hard work and perseverance. Just never worked.
Now as 40 approaches I realize that in some sense my life has been a waste, and my future is like being a passenger on a train that is heading for a ravine, and nothing can be done to escape--- the only solace I hear is that
other have it worse, or the answer is tomeditate, or medicate.
So, when i find myself in such a depressed state, which is chronic at this point, I will look to sites like craigslist for a momentary diversion. Not always but sometimes it is better than nothing.
Posting an ad is like a box of chocolates-you never know what you are going to get(although in the case of the box, hopefully some chocolates).
