REFERENCES… Darryl, at Self Care Home Health Products, 604-872-5800… My son and I installed a T-bar ceiling for them one Saturday in their North Vancouver store on Pemberton Street… Ken Smith, 604-838-0985 and/or 604-535-7823… I’ve done several projects with Ken.. framed, drywalled and finished a basement suite (wood and steel stud framing) in White Rock and framed and drywalled a suspended ceiling (and miscellaneous repairs) in a Restaurant/Bistro on the beach in White Rock… Sharon Shirley, 604-939-5465… I parged over the textured ceilings in about 85% of her home in Coquitlam to give it a new drywall appearance… George Scheffel, at Sea-First Construction, 778-896-6084… We framed and drywalled an elevator shaft/dumb waiter in a Heritage Home turned Restaurant in Port Moody (heavy guage steel stud and fire-rated shaft wall)… Sam Shalaby, manager with Murchies Coffee Stores, 604-721-6516…We did a suspended ceiling, and some wall construction for their store at the Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver… ABOUT MY OPERATION…I have several people that I employ on a somewhat regular basis when I need them, but I prefer to keep my operation smaller and one project at a time. I also have an associate painter(journeyman) and an electrician (ticketed) that I work with when the occasion calls for it… I support the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Community and, in particular, I support people in the trades who’ve DISCOVERED RECOVERY and a “more” spiritual approach to life. As a naïve and rebellious young man I earned a BA degree in social psychology at trent university but I’ve found the “12 STEP PROGRAM” to be much more VALUABLE! ! And I do my level best to READ and AVOID unscrupulous people ! ! I’ve found it takes all kinds to make up this world and there are those who I do not need to do business with ! ! While I prefer commercial/industrial projects, I will sometimes accept residential projects… There is nothing magic about the work we do.. Perfection requires time, effort, and attention to detail ! ! !
