Butterfly childcare is now expanding in the new Fraser Heights area, our new daycare is more open and spacious and has been completely redecorated, and we are now enrolling for the months of December and January. Our daycare has a toddler program, preschool program for children ages 3 to 5, as well as a new after school program for children that attend elementary school in the area. The teacher has her Early Childhood Education and 6 years experience working with children 0 to 12 years and a second teacher that runs the after school and toddler program. We offer a great program and we try to accommodate and support the parents needs as much as possible, At Butterfly Daycare we believe that learning should be fun, and children should have the opportunity to grow and learn in an environment that fosters growth in all developmental areas. We believe that a child's emotional social and creative self can be enhanced through appropriate activities designed to build self-esteem. We also believe that children should be given the opportunity to be in a safe environment with staff that is sensitive, nurturing caring and give children the opportunity to be independent. We keep our centre clean and very organized and children that attend our centre are very happy, its unique in home atmosphere provides a warm and loving environment, small class sizes allow for more individual attention. Our program offers arts and crafts, circles, drama, pre math, pre reading, outdoor time, French and Spanish, yoga, sciences, music and great field trips based on the topics we are learning. Once a week on alternating days between Monday and Tuesday we offer care after 5pm for parents that need extra care. For parents that use transit service there is a bus stop right in front of our location and for parents that park and ride there are sky trian stations near by.
