Live-in caregiver for 3 children.
Permanent full-time, regular afternoon & evening hours with occasional overtime.
To start as soon as possible.
Location: Surrey North
Skill requirements:
-completion of high school and some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
-first aid certificate, CPR certificate
-previous similar experience would be an asset
-work setting: private home
-work location information: reside in private household for duration of employment; private accomodations will be provided
-must communicate well in English, written & spoken
-must be organized, independent, and have problem solving skills
-expected to supervise & care for children, help children with homework, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
-expected to prepare & serve nutritious meals, wash / iron / press clothing and household linens
-expected to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision & housekeeping duties
-expected to maintain a safe & healthy environment in the home
-expected to take children to & from school and to appointments
-expected to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
