ABA therapist needed for 11 year old autistic boy. Swimming experience is a huge asset. Skateboard experience a plus but not necessary. We would love to have another male on our team, but will consider female applicants too.
No experience in ABA is required, we will provide ALL training and future supervision. We have four other team members under the supervision of Sharon Baxter, MSc specializing in ABA. We are looking for someone who has a car, is fun to be around and is a quick learner. Our son swims in a swim club, so we hope to find someone who can support him there. Other ABA programs include socializing at the youth center, conversation skills and keeping behavior in check.
Current shifts available are Friday afternoons, Saturday or Sunday mornings and one evening to work on swimming. Team meetings are every other Tuesday afternoon. Ideal for students.
