Blue Star Marble Ltd, locates in Richmond, providing a complete service in natural and engineered stone work tops and counter tops, surfaces and other architectural features to the customers in the Greater Vancouver area and lower mainland. Blue Star Marble provides a full service from professional design advice and template to installation and maintenance. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic individual who is internet/sales/marketing expert and have experience in designing web sites and web development. He/she will also work together with the Purchasing & Processing Manager on developing the supply chain in China from the web perspective.
Qualifications and Skills:
A university degree or college diploma in e-commerce/marketing/business administration or in a related field.
Proven knowledge of web designing, establishing and maintenance and in-depth knowledge of programming languages, practical experience is asset;
5+ years experience in sales/marketing, with e-commerce background is preferable and a managerial experience is an asset;
Fluent in Mandarin speaking and writing
Experience developing business strategies and executing plan to grow sales;
Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve difficulties creatively and professionally;
Ability to organize, prioritize and address multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Marketing & E-Commerce Manager performs the following duties;
Design and develop web site and build up from the “ground up”;
Promote Italian stones and Canadian stones to the China market
Establish sales and purchasing e-commerce territories and quotas;
Establish and develop marketing campaign on web site;
Build up on-line price estimation system and pre-order system, such as sample introduction, electronic blue print and fictitious images, and estimation price list etc.; improve the customers’ web experience and visibility;
Explore, research on and manage internal and external resources to develop e-commerce strategies;
Plan, direct and evaluate all sales activities;
Work with General Manager and Purchasing & Processing Manager to develop business plans for the company and work on the Chinese supply chain building up and managing;
Analyze marketing strategies establishment and implementation plans to maximize sales and margin opportunities;
Develop strategies on how to establish and maintain major account relationships and potential account;
Build up customer profiles, analyze the purchase data and customer files to develop business plan;
Identify new product/business opportunities base on customer needs:
Research and analyze market information such as market trend, customer preference, and competitions etc to improve marketing strategies
Responsible for both external and internal customers and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Creative manner with stone usage; manual sketch acceptable; AutoCad RA, or AutoCad 3ds an asset
