We are currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager position to join our Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company compensation and benefits structure for employees. This includes designing, planning, and implementing corporate policies and procedures that adhere to legal requirements. The Compensation & Benefits Manager will achieve these goals in a cost-effective manner, while administering compensation, group insurance plans and retirement programs that meet the needs of employees. Integrity and the ability to provide value are crucial for this role.<br>
<br>
Major Responsibilities:<br>
1.Contribute to the development of new compensation strategies through creative input combined with data analysis and a deep understanding of the company's future challenges (bonus plans, market position, salary range design, pay mix analysis<br>
2.Design and implement compensation & benefits policies; evaluate and revise programs based on changes in policy direction and trend analysis<br>
3.Implement a grading structure based on company methodology<br>
4.Work closely with other business partners to design and deliver retention plan/schemes<br>
5.Act as the key custodian of performance management processes within the organization<br>
6.Participate in remuneration networks representing the company<br>
7.Coordinate and deploy performance management, annual salary reviews, bonus payout processes throughout the company<br>
8.Act as a recognized subject matter expert, advising HR and business managers<br>
9.Devise solutions for specific issues in countries or businesses, ensuring the respect of corporate philosophy on C&B while addressing the needs of the business (for example, inflation/devaluation approach, special adjustments)<br>
10. Participate in the elaboration and deployment of the education program of HR, line managers, enhancing their C&B and performance management skills to support the growth of the company<br>
11.Contribute to the education of employees on C&B matters to improve employee satisfaction and retention<br>
12.Administer and manage health and retirement plans, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans<br>
13.Lead the transition process from preparation for the changeover to its subsequent implementation for change of service provider or programs<br>
14.Monitor existing vendor relationships for performance; identify cost savings opportunities and assure accurate payments<br>
15.Collect and analyze survey data to benchmark the company's position; recommend changes to benefit structures as required <br>
16.Provide leadership to employees, supervisors, and business units to ensure that compensation & benefit programs are understood by all<br>
17.Oversee HR and benefits software, attendance programs, hardware, assess business processes, and identify new system requirements as necessary<br>
18.Monitoring the organisation's salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff<br>
19.Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to compensation, and benefits<br>
<br>
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:<br>
1.Possess a University Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration<br>
2.Possess a minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in supervisory role and managing compensation & group benefits plans and analyses<br>
3.Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner<br>
4.Strong work ethic, able to work effectively individually and as a team player <br>
5.Meticulous with strong attention to detail and able to produce quality and accurate work on a timely manner<br>
6.Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills<br>
7.Able to respond to situations with a calm, steady demeanour and with a sense of urgency<br>
8.Familiarise with Ceridian Insync System is an asset<br>
9.Experience with contract management and management of complex health or insurance plans provided by external vendors<br>
10.Solid negotiation skills in ensuring the maximum amount of coverage is put in place at minimum price levels<br>
11.Knowledge of all statutory laws and relevant rules and regulations relating to the provision of benefits<br>
12.Ability to prepare ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint<br>
13. Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills<br>
14.Strong customer service focus<br>
15.Possessed or working toward CEBS or CHRP designation is preferred<br>
16.Must be fluent in English and is able to understand, speak and read Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin)<br>

	Support the development of and implement various communications, reward/recognition and social programs<br>
	Promote and support the planning and running of corporate events such as quarterly meetings, summer BBQ and holiday parties<br>
	Maintain employee records management and administration of employee files in accordance with the employee lifecycle requirements<br>
	Proactively seek to adopt and maintain best practices as an HR professional<br>

What is required to succeed in this position?<br>
In order to thrive in this position, you will have a minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, a strong focus being on social media/employment branding.  You will have superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external groups.
