We’re running a Usability study about accounting software that pays each participant a $100 Amazon gift card for 1 hour of their time.

To participate in this study, you must do accounting work at a medium-sized business. During the week of Nov 2-6 and Nov 9-13, you will come to our Richmond office for 1 hour. You can also have the flexibility to do this test remotely, using WebEx and telephone line. To do this, you will need high speed internet access with a telelphone line. We’ll have you use our software to complete some accounting tasks and ask your opinions about it.

Usability testing is a technique used to evaluate a product by having real users use it. The aim is to observe people using the product to discover errors and areas of improvement. We run these studies periodically to make sure that the software is easy to use.

Please answer the following questions when you email us. This information helps us determine if you represent a possible user of our accounting software and therefore qualify for this study.

Note: If unemployed, please answer the questions about your most recent company of employment.

1. Basic info -- Name, Contact Info (Email and Phone Number)

2. What type of company do you work for?

3. What is your role or title in the company? (For example: Owner, Sales Rep, etc.)

4. How many employees work at your company?

5. At your company, what accounting software do you currently use?

6. How many employees use your accounting software on a regular basis?

7. At your job, how many hours per week do you use a computer?

8. May we keep your information on file in case you qualify for another study of ours in the future?
