We are looking for enthusiastic ice skating coaches for January 2010 employment with the Richmond Arenas Community Association Learn to Skate program. These positions are part-time, weekends and evenings and require fun, out-going, creative individuals that have a passion for teaching children ages 4 years and older. We ask for a strong background in skating and coaching knowledge. Be able to work independantly with your own groups and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills are mandatory. Great organizational skills and record keeping an asset.
Responsibilities:
Program planning, leading and instruction of various skating levels from beginner to advanced.
Evaluation and report card writing of class participants.
Able to effectively deal with parental concerns and questions.
We are looking for you, if you have the following:
Skating instructional experience preferred
Valid First Aid Certificate
Ability to obtain a criminal record check
Effective communication skills
