Responsibilities:
• Creating and translating (from English to Quebecois French) flyers, catalogues, corporate newsletters, signs, packaging and other projects that may arise
• Working in a team and meeting deadlines
• Modifying logos and headers
• Page building in Adobe InDesign program
• Proof reading
• Performing corrections and changes as directed
• Exporting files and submitting to press by deadline
• Translate and proofread all packaging including instruction manuals, law labels, hang tags and others and more.
Requirements:
• Fluent in French both oral and written (MUST BE Quebecois French)
• Ability to work within established design guidelines and work in a fast paced environment
• 3+ years of professionally employed experience
• Competency in layout software such as Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
• Competency in Microsoft Office, and the Mac OS X computer platform
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Translation certificate or diploma is an asset.
