Key Responsibilities
-assist Leadership Development Co-Chairs with creating and circulating meeting agendas, meeting minutes and send meeting reminders to Organizing Committee
-capture and record minutes at monthly Organizing Committee meetings
-manage and update master contact lists and other resources to support all areas of Organizing Committee
-assist Organizing Committee with additional clerical tasks as needed such as follow-up phone calls, mail outs, packaging media kits and other support as needed
-using weekly reports provided by staff, work with Event Chair to compare monthly targets against results

- strong written and verbal communication skills
- knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- comfortable using databases and managing information
This position is for the SQUAMISH Relay for Life. Time committment is February 2012- August 2012.

In order to volunteer, all you have to do is come down to the store and pick up a volunteer application form and criminal record check (standard for everyone). Once you have completed the form, bring it back to us and we'll setup an orientation for you! We pride ourselves on giving our volunteers jobs that they feel comfortable doing and more then that, something they enjoy!
Because this is such a fast paced environment there is always something to be done! All of the items you see in our store have been donated by community members. The money we earn goes directly to our hospice programs in the Ridge Meadows area! The store is big, but the people are friendly! If you've got a few hours each week and want to contribute some of your time to a really great cause, now is the time to do it!

The position would be ideal for someone currently studying and/or preparing for a career in entertainment management. The successful candidate will learn much about what it takes to put on a smaller music festival in a fun, personable environment with a lot of freedom and openness to new ideas.
Responsibilities:
-Attend increasingly frequent meetings (as the event approaches in early July)
-Plan and implement various online, postering and radio promotions
-Manage and recruit for the Adstock Street Team
-A breadth of other tasks up to and including the event itself
