I need some advice/ suggestions/ information...

I am Catholic...went through catholic schools both primary and secondary ( here in BC). I was away for years travelling for work and this past August just recently joined a new Catholic parish. I am getting married in September and am hoping to get married in my Church. My problem is because of working often out of the province, I haven't been able to attend mass regularly in BC.
Any advice on how I should approach this with my pastor?

I am not feeling confident that the Pastor will allow me or marry us in this church.

If turned down, will I be able to get married in another catholic church? If not, is there any church that will marry us?

Looking for advice or information from anyone with experience....really appreciated :)

I should also mention that my fiance is not catholic, however he does not follow any religion but is willing to attend the pre-marriage courses etc etc

After it was all over i felt like i was raped. I felt like the only people that are there to protect me have zero interest in doing so. The other two times i was pushed around was after that incident. Turns out every time you have a run-in with the RCMP they keep what happened in a secret RCMP file. If i get pulled over today i get the same questions "It says here on my computer that you were a suspect in a break-in a few years ago. It says you like to push cops around. For the past 3 - 4 years ever since i came back to BC from Alberta i would get shot down time and time again. It's one after the other i got rejected (sometimes being rude as possible in the process). When a man gets slapped in the face over and over again (metaphorically speaking) it feels like you're falling down the hill even further. If i notice a very attractive woman (after all the rejection) i won't bother anymore. I will save myself from a day of misery after getting shot down with some laughs tossed my way from the peanut gallery.

I know I'm a good person with lot's of love to give. I'm sure you feel the same about yourself. I hope you find the right guy some time down the road. I know how lonely it feels to go another Christmas with nobody to buy a gift for. Good luck to you.

I'm probably a lot younger than you, but my story is: I got nothing for Christmas, other than the discomfort of paying off my bills, especially my Visa.

I hop on Facebook and talk to my friends, and they cheer in joy in reaction to the whole pile of gifts they received: IPods, Headphones, IPhones, Macbook Pros, TVs, new clothes, money, flight tickets, and more.
I watch as my News Feed is flooded with countless pictures of all sorts of gifts these people received, Christmas Trees, and smiles

I know many of these people aren't exactly "rich" either. Drive very typical cars, some old cars, and some none. Typical lower-to-middle class. They just like getting involved in the spirit of Christmas and just want to see each other light up with beautiful smiles. They have... hearts.

That's great that you want to make your wife happy. I just remind myself that I must get somewhere in life, then one day I'll have a happy family of my own.
