• Operation of various computer equipment including scanners, digitizers, printers and plotters
• Cutting, weeding, pre-masking, and assembly of multiple colours, vinyl lettering and graphics
• Accurate and precise finishing by the way of rounding, slitting, grometing, cleaning and trimming artwork
• Maintain equipment on a regular basis for the above purposes
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in a graphic design or sign company
• Will possess knowledge of outside suppliers of film positives, stripping and cutting, lay-up and artwork preparation
• Candidate will responsible, mature and a team player

Compensation for this position will be $12- $14/hr based on experience.

For Week 1 of the Spring Break camp, we would like to offer a range of arts and activities in the morning or afternoon, and a range of science activities in the other half of the day.
Example
Week 2 of the camp, which is already scheduled, will produce a claymation project for YouTube at the end of the week (mornings), and Lego Star Wars animations for YouTube in the afternoon. Each day different art activities will interconnect to create a larger project.
Day 1: Claymation: make a clay character, do a test animation
Day 2: Painting: do some painting activities, paint a background for the claymation
Day 3: Sculpting: practice clay sculpting techniques, make characters for the big project
Day 4: Comics: Make a comic based on your characters (used in the title sequences of the final animation)
Day 5: Claymation: make a final stop-motion animation, record voices
The week doesn't have to be so interconnected, days can be more independent of each other, but we're looking for a variety of activites. Also, some students may be signed up for just a day or two (we allow drop-ins), so they have to have something to take home at the end of the day, if they are not there for the full week.
The Science class doesn't have to be interconnected at all, but hey, it's up to you, the program-designer.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following strengths and qualities:
• Implementing age appropriate sessions
• Guiding and caring for a group of children 5-12 years old
• Ensuring health and safety of children
• Experience working with children in a group setting
• Education and experience in arts or sciences
• Criminal record check must be provided
Hours of Work:
• March 12 - 16, 2012
• 9:00 am -- 1:00 pm, or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, or both
• Possibility of returning in the summer for more than one week
Wage:
From $20/hr, depending on experience and program
