• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills and approach with the ability to provide 3rd level support, follow-up and resolution (prioritize and organize). Multitask abilities and a Proactive attitude a must.
• Resolving system issues - Hands on Technical Support Experience Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting VMware Servers, Windows 2003, 2008 Server, Small Business Servers 2003, VMWare Appliances, SANS, Windows Exchange, Blackberry Server, Thin Client. A working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Office 2010, SharePoint. A proven problem solver.
• Resolving Network issues - Hands on Technical Support Experience of Networking (LAN/WAN) environments, firewalls, VPN, etc. A working knowledge of networking LAN/WAN and set-up of routers, gateways and firewalls - Network protocols: TCP/IP and SMB, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and DHCP
• Develop workarounds for issues related to Hardware and Software problems.
• Provide system, service, and document process including diagrams, written proposals for technology upgrades and purchases. Work with a ticketing system throughout the day.
• Promote adherence to standardized processes thereby ensuring the delivery of well-documented, high quality, and cost effective solutions. Assist in translating business requirements into systems qualities and into repeatable design strategies that enable the following: adaptability, scalability, availability, reusability. Ability to analyze, recommend, and utilize innovative systems, strategies, procedures, and technology to their fullest potential.
• Ensure all security precautions.
• Must be Professional presentable due to your interaction with clients (on-site visits and meetings)
• As a consultant you must have the ability to work independently and be self-managed and work as a team member as well.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Business processes.
• Flexible to accept emergency coverage when required.
• A car to drive to and from site when required.
