You must have extensive experience and technical knowledge in producing content for multiple tablet platforms. Including iPhone, iPad, RIM, Playbook and others. You must have extensive experience using Adobe Digital Publishing suite and be aware of current versions and pricing structures, plus the behind the scenes account handling software.
You must have published tablet work as well as an extensive portfolio. Your knowledge must include appropriate designs for the platform, layout ethics for multi media, technical knowledge on tablet production and knowledge of correct editorial principles for the platform. You must have experience in producing content for digital workflow across multiple platforms and be able demonstrate that you are capable of doing so in an efficient manner. You must also be able to modify an existing production workflow to accommodate new multi media publishing.
You must have extensive knowledge of web design and editorial production for websites and social media. Producing a wide range of work for multiple platforms. With published experienced in each of the fields with a portfolio and references to show.
You must be able to create professional video content in a short space of time, including underwater video skills. You must be able to edit, shoot and construct good quality videos for multi media distribution with good knowledge of video compression.
You should have good relationships with multi media software developers and ideally have good diving skills for underwater videography.
You must have excellent knowledge of layout, typography, conceptualising, retouching for images and you should have experience in teaching Adobe DPS production, as others will need to be trained.
The role includes meeting tough deadlines, which will include evening and weekend work. There no benefits on offer.
Applicants will need to show examples of published iPad work, from concept to design and be published through iTunes. Applicants must show published print and web work plus good knowledge of photography and writing skills. Applicants must be able to show video production skills with finished videos.
