This sailboat is excellent shape and is loaded. The interior is the roomiest I have seen in a 26 foot boat. It has an enclosed head, is brightly lit, and has room for 6 to dine and sleep. The rear bunk is huge and comfortably accommodates 2 adults with the width of a queen bed, and about 7 feet of length. There is a smaller "V" birth forward and then two berths next to the settee. The galley has a two burner alcohol stove, sink, and removable ice box. There is pressurized water in the galley and head with a 27 Gal Tank (The H26 originally came with a hand pump and only 10gal water capacity). The Marine stereo is phenomenal with an MP3/Ipod input and exterior speakers. There is also a VHF radio below with an additional cockpit handset. The exterior has a roomy cockpit, cockpit cushions, aft stanchion seats, spray dodger and a bimini. She is very well set up for sailing with all lines running back to the cockpit and a good inventory of sails including a fully battened Main, Roller furling Jib, additional furling Genoa, and a brand new spinnaker. She has an auto helm, depth sounder/knot meter, Spinlock Tiller Extension, and lazy jacks. She is well powered with a 9.9 4stroke Nissan Outboard with remote cockpit controls. The Tandem axel Trailer has custom bunks for easy tailoring and the water ballast system keep the weight around 5500lbs and can be towed by most pickups and SUV's.

The Hunter 26 is a very easy boat to sail and to single hand, with excellent performance as well . Her hull speed is 6.46 knots and she will hit this easily under sail in less than 10 knots, and she will do 7 knots under power.

The mast takes less than 20 minutes to raise/lower with the innovative mast raising system, and can be done singer handed. You can arrive at the boat ramp and be sailing in less that 45 minutes, and no need to pay moorage when you are not using her !

She has lots of extras and is price to move at $16,900 obo

The Shamrock Predator (1988) is a 20 ft Cuddy. The engine is mid-ship mounted in a inboard configuation with a Borg Warner Transmission.
It has a combination semi displacement hull will a keel. Cruise at 20 at 3000rpm
I swapped out the 302 Ford last year and put a V6-4.3 Vortec. Approx the same HP and more fuel efficient. Its carburated with
a electronic(Distributer) ignition and electric fuel pump. You should never get stuck finding parts for this motor.Very easy to work on. If you trash the engine. Your only out $2000 to $2500 for a
complete engine. Current outboards in the 200 HP bracket are next to unrebuildable. Cost over $20,000.

I have an older model throttle mount with 2 sets of cables for forward & reverse. I had the throttle assembly with a 50 hp evinrude outboard (1980). I sold the motor but the buyer didn't need the throttle or cables.

Life and dream changes mean our Columbia 43 is now for sale. Now asking $27,900 but open to offers / trade smaller. A multi-year restoration is nearing its end but due to some recent experiences we have come to realize that the boat is just a lot more than we need for the type of sailing we now realize we REALLY want to do. Asking $27,900 OBO or possible trade for a 30 - 35 foot glass or composite sailboat.

Please note: this is not a failed or abandoned project, we simply want/need a boat about 1/2 this size. Work is ongoing.

The boat still requires work but all the heavy lifting has been done. A 7 page detailed history of all work done is available but too large to attach here - it can be e-mailed on request.

A quick list of the major items includes:

Keel dropped, epoxy coated, faired with epoxy filler then coated with InterProtect and reattached with all new stainless hardware.

Perkins 4107 (2050 hours) completely serviced - new starter, alternator, battery, pumps, heat exchangers cleaned & rebuilt, hoses replaced, fuel filters and lines redone, fluids replaced etc.

Gel-coat touched up and polished out in 6 steps from 400 wet to final wax. Bottom stripped to the gel-coat, checked for blisters (none found) then filled, faired with longboards, coated with 3 coats of epoxy then InterProtect 2000.

Rig dropped, stripped to the bare tube, sanded then sprayed with zinc chromate , epoxy primer and finished with semi gloss black Awlgrip. All hardware and rigging checked for flaws then rebuilt, polished or replaced as required. All mast hardware reinstalled with new S/S fasteners coated with Tef-Gel. New electropolished chainplates and stemhead fitting. New running rigging made up. Jib furling bearings replaced. New aluminium and epoxy composite mast step.

Main, Jib, 150 Genoa and 1.5 Spinnaker - serviced by sailmaker and in various conditions - serviceable or better.

Deck hardware all serviced and polished or replaced. Primary winches replaced with huge aluminium Barient 736 3 speed self tailers. The other seven are S/S Barients.

Custom 33" high pulpit and stanchions with new double 3/8" lifelines installed.

These are just some highlights of the big stuff, as noted, the detailed list runs to seven pages.

The boat needs the 12 volt system re-done. The 110 volt system is O/K. It needs new upholstery (we have 2 bolts of cloth for this if you like the green/brown colours). Other internal cosmetics are also required. Most everything needed to complete it is included. I estimate two weeks work could see it launched, two months could see it completely finished. Work is ongoing and the price will go up as things continue to get upgraded and completed. Even in the current market this boat will be worth $55 - 60K when finished.

This is a big, powerful boat, displacing 11 tons with over 5 tons of ballast. Sail area is over 800 Sq. Ft. The interior layout would make it a wonderful liveaboard - big and open enough for dockside comfort but still capable for offshore use. HUGE cockpit lockers - they would be aft cabins on a contemporary boat!

As noted at the top of the page, after planning, dreaming and working for many years, we now realize we don't really want a boat this big after all - 30 to 35 feet is what we really can make proper use of for the kind of sailing we want to do. If anyone has a glass or composite boat in that size range and a case of "footitis", lets talk. Otherwise, $27,900K OBO will make it yours ( I am realistic about the current market!). This is an extremely good deal and a rare opportunity, even these days, for the right person.

Vortec 4.3 Mercrusier MPI Parts (Reed Point) $1500

This is a 2007 engine that was not winterized properly. Even has the pump to hand pump the water out!!!!. The engine apparently had about 20 hours on it. Its not a rebuild. Its a brand new engine with all the goodies. The block and the heads are cracked. It does not have the manifolds or FWC system. Your getting a total fuel injection system including the marine computer and sensors. This engine also has the harmonic balancer and rollar bearings associated with the heads. Upper parts removed to show cracked block.You should get another 20 Hp out of your carburated engine as well as significant fuel savings and reliable starts.

I was going to use this engine to swap out with my carburated engine and found it uncompatable as my engine was one of the early ones.

If you have a late model 4.3 carburated engine or rebuilding. Check out the engine/heads numbers with mercury for compatability. Block 14099090M Heads 12557123

Aluminium mizzen rig for sale. The mast is 6 1/2" X 3 1/2" oval section 26' 4" long. The boom is 4 1/2" X 3" oval section 7'3" long

Both mast and boom were stripped to the bare tubes, sanded, chromated, sprayed with 2 part epoxy primer and sprayed satin black AwlGrip.

All the hardware was checked for flaws, serviced where necessary and polished including the Barient 16 stainless steel halyard winch.

The standing rigging was checked under high magnification for flaws and then electropolished.

A fabricated stainless steel mast step is included which raises the mast a further 7"

A tubular stainless steel radar mount can be included if wanted.

A white triangle is included but I suspect you will want to get a new (or newer) mizzen.

This is a true plug & play rig - everything above the chainplates is included.

The spars are currently shrink wrapped so I don't have any pictures but I guarantee you won't find a better deal if it is anywhere near the size you want - this rig is essentially brand new.

George Holmes' 1890's Canoe Yawl "Eel" launched 2005, Cedar strip over oak frames, epoxy and glass. Cruise equiped: gaff rigged, five tan-bark sails, including matching jibs with whisker poles for downwind sailing. Double anchors with ample rode and chain, radar, GPS, VHS, sounder, cd player. All electronics are on ball mounts and can be relocated to cockpit. Rudder has trim tab which reduces draw on tiller pilot. foam flotation. Rebuilt 6.5 Petter diesel, Campbell sail prop. head, galley, gimballed single burner stove. Pilgrim's Wake only draws 2' 6" with board up (5' with board down) and can be beached using sweeps as legs. The 1000lb. 16ft. cast iron keel offers plenty of bottom protection. The boat comes with a tandom trailer with surge brakes which doubles as a flat-deck. This boat has circumnavigated both Vancouver and the Queen Charlottes and won prizes (best cruiser under 30ft. and best boat modern construction) in the Vancouver Wooden Boat festival. I have put a lot of time and effort in building this boat but now want to upgrade to a larger cruising boat with standing head room. Would consider trading up to Alberg or Southern Cross equivalent but I no longer have facilities to take on a project boat.

I have a 1969 55 hp for sale, controls+key included.
Does not run, the issue is with the ignition system (Turns over but no spark). I've narrowed it down to the the amplifier (but I'm not a mechanic)
In very good visual shape, no corrosion, doesn't look like its been in salt water.
Powerhead has good compression, previous owner installed new wiring harness, plug wires, and distributor.
Has electric shift (works, I can show you).

Would make either a good project, or parts motor. I know these days parts for these old motors can be tough to come by, plus expensive.

Gori Folding Prop 14 1/2" (Lions Bay) $45

Bronze, geared folding prop. 14 1/2" diameter, right hand rotation. Not sure of the pitch. It is for a 1 inch shaft with a taper. We had it on our 31' sailboat with a 10hp diesel. It was too big for that horsepower so we got a smaller prop.

The price is low because the pin holes in the hub are worn, but the blades are good.

We always painted it with Micron CSC like the rest of our boat. The wear was on the pin holes when we bought the boat. We replaced this with a smaller Gori as our engine was too small for this one.
