Xantrex Technology Inc. is re-branding to Schneider Electric and requires a graphic designer to aid in the process of updating all branded engineering product documentation and marketing materials to the new Schneider corporate standards. This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Communications with product documentation direction given by the Functional Manager, Mechanical Engineering.
The majority of work will be to update engineering drawings to comply with the Schneider Electric product marking guidelines and to file the documents in accordance with the document control policies. In addition, this position will support the graphic design team with its efforts to rebrand all marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for updating all engineering parts and related drawings and documentation related to the re-branding project
2. File documentation in accordance to established policy and procedures
3. Liaise with key stakeholders including brand migration project leader and mechanical engineering team
4. Manage product brand migration projects from start to finish using strong project plans, timeline development, and time management systems with multiple stakeholders
5. Be a contributing member of the marketing team with a strong understanding of the brand migration policies and brand charters
6. Report on project status to key stakeholders
7. Provide training to others as needed
8. Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
1. Post secondary education in graphic arts with at least 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field
2. Proven project management skills, practices and principles
3. Demonstrated proficiency with required software; Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with Solid Works would be an asset.
4. A passion for marketing, communications and branding
