I'm from a small mountain town (rossland BC) and I got my learners permit in grade eleven like everyone else, but in rossland, it snows heavily and is extremely dangerous to drive pretty much 9 months out of the year, and my parents never let me throughout the season. Then i graduated, and moved out, and in january I'm colalborating with a reletive and getting a car, and I need to get my N! I don't really know that many people in this city and I don't have any reletives here, so I need someone to teach me how to drive.
I know that restrictions do apply, the kind of person I want to help me out here is obviously someone who can legally have me driving intheir car, which means 25 or over with a valid liscense, which I'm totally fine with, maybe we can become friends afterwards, who knows! It'll be a great bonding experience. Also I know that insurance risks apply to you, because I do not have a car, (dur, as if you didn't realize that in the beginning of the post) but I can tell you I drove my friends mom back and forth from work every other day for two months 20 mintues there and back and have never hit anything/anyone. I'd like someone to be going to BCIT or AI, because I live really close and then I can sort of relate to you because I'm a student at AI as of January. Also, I find that I trust fellow students a bit more, not sure why I just feel more comfortable. I can assure you, I can drive, I know how to drive enough to cruise around with my L in my hometown, but I've never driven in a city before (not saying that we're going to be hitting HWY 1 right off the bat) and I have no one to teach me!
I'm a very cautious driver, I'm very friendly, very outgoing, I'm in school for video game design and my favorite movie is Forrest Gump, we already know eachother a bit already.
