If this home is shared, I would like to keep my room locked when I am at work or away as I may have my laptop, belongings, clothes in my room.

Personally, when my time permits, I enjoy fishing, reading books, watching UFC and occassionally playing online poker. I enjoy excercise in the evenings and would consider joining a fitness club if there is one in the area.

If you are interested in saving a bit of money this could be for you. I am looking for someone who would be willing to do some cooking, cleaning, dishes and laundry in my home in exchange for reduced rent. You would have a private room and flexible hours. I have either a furnished room or an unfurnished room available. I am a single part time dad and need some help with my children. My 15 year old son lives with me and my 13 year old daughter comes over 1-3 days per week. Could work well for a student or single parent. You of course would have access to the whole house and use of kitchen, TV, computer etc I look forward to hearing from you. I am not looking for a babysitter as my children are older, more looking for someone to mainly cook and take care of the cleaning. About me: I am male, 19, non-drug user aside from coffee and the occasional drink. I am friendly, relatively quiet, and respectful of different lifestyles - I keep activity pretty low key, and I am willing to cooperate with household rules and such.
Preferences: I do like my privacy a large amount of time, as well as mutual respect. Age/gender/pets don't matter to me, any are fine.
Furniture/Space requirements: I will be bringing a gaming computer and masticating juicer (that you can use to your leisure as well), clothing, and some other small items. I would prefer a bedroom, but I would be willing to sleep in the living room as well.

If you need a nice roomate then let me know. I am looking for a place that is close to a skytrain station in North Burnaby, that is Brentwood, Lougheed, or Holdom. By close I mean walking distance. I would also like it to be close to a bus stop going to SFU. Other than these points I've just made, I am flexible.
