Qualifications<br>
	Degree/diploma in human resources, business or in a related field<br>
	2+ years of administrative/recruitment/HR coordination experience; experience within the high technology sector is an asset<br>
	Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail<br>
	Ability to maintain strict confidentiality<br>
	Efficient time management skills, with the ability to balance numerous requirements<br>
	Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work independently as well as, part of a team<br>
	Strong computer skills in MS Office products<br>
	Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems is an asset<br>

Coordinate the development of instructor-led and on-line training modules; utilize web-based training; communicate on-line to employees regarding training and development programs, training schedule, resources and opportunities; monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement;<br>
Process tuition reimbursement requests, liaise with Accounts Payable to ensure processes and policies are understood and followed by all employees<br>
Perform other related duties and tasks as appropriately assigned. <br>

Qualifications:<br>

Familiarity with learning and development / training programs, HR administration<br>

Overall support of hiring including assistance to hiring managers, coordination of and attendance at interviews, references/background checks, preparing offers letters, new employee onboarding and orientation<br>
Administration of STD/LTD program including assistance with applications, liaising with employees, supervisors and Manulife to facilitate return to work, administrative tracking, coordination of STD payment with payroll administrators<br>
Preparation of termination package, administrative processing of terminations including management requisitions and filing<br>
Preparation of monthly management reports, maintenance of organizational charts and job descriptions<br>
Maintenance of Employment Equity Program<br>
Administration of employment (or retainer) terms and conditions for all temporary and fixed term employees and consultants<br>
Coordinating and implementing various wellness programs and other HR initiatives (such as corporate yoga, breakfast with the president, lunch and learns and other education)<br>

Requirements for successful candidates:<br>
<br>
At least 5 years previous progressive experience in all areas of Human resources required and specifically with employee relations  <br>
Hands on experience working with all levels of managers to trouble shoot employee relations and HR questions<br>
Understanding of HR business processes around onboarding, termination, STD/LTD, etc.  <br>
Ability to work independently and take initiative<br>
Strong written and verbal communication skills<br>
Strong analytical skills and an ability to look for creative solutions to problems<br>
Excellent computer skills<br>
Experience with payroll an advantage, but not required<br>
