This is the perfect piece of clothing for toting baby out of the house to the car in cold weather, and it is also great for walks in the buggy or in a sport backpack. The car seat wraps were not good at this point because our daughter was out of the portable car seat and into her big one, so getting her out to the car was always a big process of bundling her up. And we found coats and blankets were too bulky, and were sometimes even too hot. Plus, the blankets would sometimes come undone, and if she just wore a coat her legs would get cold. Argh!! Then my mom found us the "snug-a-bug" (what we called it) to put over top of the regular clothes, and it was perfect!! It is a safe alternative for the car seat, because the car seat still fits properly around the outfit, unlike when bulky blankets and coats are stuffed in. And it never was too hot, because we just took the hood down once we were in the car and it was like she was snuggled up in just one blanket which was just perfect.
This is dark green and I think was meant for a boy, but can also be worn by a girl.
Our daughter used to love getting snuggled into her Snug-A-Bug before we went out to the car, because she felt so cozy - I highly recommend having one of these!
